After more than 20 years working in construction, mining and remote locations across Australia, I experienced firsthand the challenges of long days, tough conditions and staying hydrated in the Australian heat.
I wanted a simple hydration product that could be thrown into a toolbox, work bag, backpack or vehicle and mixed wherever it was needed. No bulky tubs. No scoops. No guessing.
After researching hydration and electrolytes, I realised many products contained added sugar, caffeine or ingredients that weren’t what I was looking for. I wanted something straightforward that focused on hydration and convenience.
After months of development and testing, Hangzest was created.
The product was first introduced at local markets around Airlie Beach, Queensland, where the positive response from customers gave me the confidence to continue building the brand.
Today, Hangzest is proudly Australian owned and operated from Airlie Beach, Queensland.
